Israelis Displace Palestinian Families in West Bank

Five Palestinian families living in the south of Bethlehem in West Bank were forced to migrate to the town of Sa’lr in the north of Hebron after a group of Israelis confiscated their houses and sheep. The displaced families are now trying to hold on to life in tents that are not resistant to winter conditions and have no electricity or water.

“On November 1, approximately 70 Israeli settlers attacked us and kicked us out at gunpoint, and we had to leave our land because we had no power left,” said Ibrahim Shalalda, a victim of the Israeli attacks.

Another victim, Muhammad Abdel Rahim, said that the Israelis scared them and their children with weapons.

Both victims state that some of the Palestinians’ houses were set on fire by Israeli attackers.
