The Israeli army launched an attack on the Basta district of the Lebanese capital Beirut at around 04:00 local time. An eight-story building on al-Mamun Street was hit by at least four missiles and collapsed. At least four people were killed and 23 injured in the attack, according to Hezbollah-affiliated Al Manar television, citing the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
