Israel’s Attack on Syria’s Aleppo Kills 38

The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that the Israeli army and other armed groups attacked various points in the Aleppo countryside around 01.45 local time. It was stated that 38 civilians and soldiers died as a result of the attack, and damage occurred to public buildings and private properties.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that a weapons depot near Aleppo International Airport was hit, a violent explosion occurred and at least 36 Syrian soldiers died.

Israel frequently launches attacks against points belonging to Iran-linked groups, including Hezbollah, in the east, south and northwest of Syria and in the areas around the capital Damascus.
