The Beyoğlu Municipality in Türkiye’s Istanbul organized the Golden Horn Sea Festival to mark the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. After a moment of silence was held and the National Anthem was sung at the shore, dozens of small vessels formed a sea cortege in the Golden Horn. Citizens watched the athletes sailing with Turkish flags and anthems, waving their hands from the shore.
