Restoration work on Istanbul’s historic Haydarpaşa Train Station, initiated after a 2010 fire, is nearing completion. The roof, damaged in the fire, has been under repair, and part of the covering was recently removed, revealing the station’s progress. Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the restoration, which began in 2016, is set to be finished in 2024. The restoration project, approved by the Kadıköy Municipality and the General Directorate of State Railways, aims to faithfully restore the station to its original state. The current state of the station was captured in aerial footage.
