Following the earthquakes that caused massive destruction in 11 cities in Turkey, the Italian Prime Ministry Civil Defense Department stated that Italy’s assistance under the European Union (EU) Civil Defense mechanism continues and a Italian navy ship was sent to Turkey. The ship is carrying a field hospital and relief supplies for earthquake victims.
