Izium is one of the cities where the heaviest traces of the ongoing war between Russia-Ukraine are seen. The city, where 80 percent of the buildings were destroyed during the attacks, currently has no electricity. Izium is also facing lack of communication and heating services. Therefore, the city is in a worrying state as the winter will intensify the struggle. The citizens are currently preparing their food on the streets.
