Japan Commemorates Victims of Tōhoku Earthquake

Japanese people in central Tokyo held one minute of silence to commemorate the victims of the 9.0-meagnitude earthquake and tsunami occurred in Tohoku and caused a nuclear disaster at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant on March 11, 2011, killing at least 15,900.

A total of 2,520 people haven’t been found, and at least 3,802 people have died due to health issues ever since.
