Japan Launches Military Communications Satellite ‘Kirameki 3’

Japan successfully launched the “Kirameki 3” military communications satellite into orbit via an H3 rocket from the Tanegashima Space Center. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) confirmed the launch, initially delayed from mid-October due to weather and technical issues. The satellite, designed to use the weather-resistant X-band frequency, will enhance rapid data transmission between military units. JAXA reported that the satellite reached its designated orbit 29 minutes after the launch at 15:48 local time.
