Japanese automotive giant introduces in-shoe navigation system

The world-famous Japanese automotive giant Honda has developed in-shoe navigation system. The system called Ashirase works with a smartphone application and consists of a frame system placed in the shoe and 2 sensors. Ashirase gives directions with vibrations of different intensity and directions felt by feet.

The company announced the plan to launch a system next year which can be used by sightless or deaf people that cannot use mobile devices.
