Japanese Crown Prince Visit Hagia Sophia

 

Crown Prince Akishino Fumihito and Crown Princess Kiko of Japan visited the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque in Istanbul as part of their trip to mark the 100th anniversary of Türkiye-Japan relations.

Accompanied by Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the royal couple toured the historic site under tight security measures. After the visit, they waved to waiting press members and spectators, concluding their Istanbul stop following earlier engagements in Ankara.
