The mosque, whose texture is likened to Ottoman architecture by the Japanese who watch Turkish TV series or are interested in Turkish-Islamic culture, soon became one of the frequent destinations of the giant metropolis. Many Japanese came to the mosque and took pictures in its courtyard and inside, while some Japanese tried to get to know Islam by watching the afternoon prayer in the section reserved for them.

On the other hand, Tokyo Mosque and Religion Turkish Cultural Center President Muhammed Raşit Alas stated that the mosque, which also houses the cultural center, is the focus of attention of the Japanese because it bears the traces of Turkish culture and civilization and hosts rare artifacts.
