Japanese Students Explore Islam at Tokyo Mosque

 

A group of high school students from Saitama’s Omiya Kita High School visited the Tokyo Mosque as part of a cultural study program ahead of a trip to Malaysia and Singapore.

The mosque welcomed 350 students, reflecting growing interest in Islam across Japan. Turkish Religious Services Counselor Muhammed Rashid Alas said the Tokyo Mosque now ranks among the city’s top cultural sites, attracting hundreds of Japanese visitors each week.
