The International Balloon Festival, which is held annually in the southwest Japanese city of Saga, has resumed after a two-year Covid-19 hiatus. The 50 hot air balloons that took off at the festival gave visual feast for the audience amid fewer participants this year due to pandemic. “It was unfortunate that we could not see the crowds that flock to the festival, but that despite this, the festival aims to provide enjoyable moments for the audience,” The event organizers said.
