Large marches were held across Iran on Jerusalem Day as thousands protested against the USA and Israel and expressed support for Palestine. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian joined the march in Tehran, Iran, along Enghelab and Azadi streets.
During the demonstrations, a woman was killed by shrapnel from an airstrike near the march route on Inqilab Avenue, Iranian state television reported. Protesters gathered at the scene and continued chanting anti-US and anti-Israel slogans.
