Jewelry Shop Employee Barehandedly Disarm Robber in Germany

A Turkish employee managed to barehandedly disarm a masked and armed robber who entered the jewelry shop he works at in Cologne, Germany. The robber and two other suspects who are related to the robbery were tracked through the phone that the robber dropped at the shop and detained on the same day.

“I had just opened the shop around 10:00 in the morning. I was working alone that day. The shop has two entrances; the front entrance is usually busy, and the back is quieter. I heard a rattle and opened the door, thinking maybe the landlady or the postman had come. As soon as I opened the door, the masked person pointed the gun at me and signaled for me to go in with hand gestures. Then, I managed to throw the gun from the man’s hand and neutralize him with an instinctive reflex,” said Ibrahim Dindar, the jewelry shop employee, also mentioning that he used to do martial arts.
