Eighty-one-year-old American president Joe Biden announced yesterday on his X account that he withdrew from the 2024 US Presidential Election. Following his announcement, some supporters gathered outside the White Palace with placards reading “Thank You, Joe.”
The new candidate of the Democratic Party will be 59-year-old Kamala Harriss, who is currently serving as vice president.
