The blooming Judas trees are turning Istanbul into a picturesque scene, blending green, blue, and pink hues along the Bosphorus. These trees, known as spring’s heralds, are adorning the city with their elegant branches, creating postcard-worthy views from above. Their pink flowers, blooming between April and May, captivate the city’s residents and have inspired poets like Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar and Edip Cansever. Hüseyin Emiroğlu, founder of Istanbul Redbud Volunteers, actively promotes these trees through various projects, enhancing Istanbul’s natural beauty.
