According to the US National Hurricane Center (NHC), Tropical Storm Julia, which is currently located in the Caribbean Sea and is heading west, is going to turn into a hurricane in the next few hours and then hit Nicaragua early tomorrow.
The US National Hurricane Center reported that after reaching the land of Nicaragua, the storm can cause life-threatening rainfalls in the country and other surrounding Central American countries, leading to flooding and landslides. It is estimated that the storm will continue to move westward and affect Guatemala and Mexico.
The government of San Andres Island in Colombia is alarmed due to the storm.
