Kakava Hıdırellez Festival held in Edirne after 2 years of Covid-19 break

Kakava Hıdırellez Festival, held in Edirne on May 5-6 every year with the participation of tens of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists, has been symbolically celebrated after 2 years due to the corona virus epidemic. With the normalization period, the old enthusiasm broke the visitor record of all time and came back. Tens of thousands of visitors from various provinces of Turkey and from many countries, especially Greece and Bulgaria, flocked to Edirne. The festival, which started with the lighting of the Kakava fire on Thursday with the participation of tens of thousands of visitors, continued to Sunday morning hours.
