Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei criticized the United States during a speech in Tehran, saying even “the world’s most powerful army” can suffer irreversible blows. Referring to US aircraft carriers, he said, “More dangerous than an aircraft carrier is the weapon that can sink it.”
Khamenei accused Washington of trying to dominate Iran and interfering in its missile and nuclear programs, insisting that nuclear technology and enrichment are Iran’s sovereign rights. He also dismissed US calls for negotiations, arguing that talks cannot succeed if outcomes are imposed in advance.
