Kherson in aftermath of Russian invasion

The devastation caused by Russian attacks in the Ukrainian town of Kherson’s Velyka Oleksandrivka was photographed. According to reports, only ten people remained in a town where more than 5,000 people lived prior to the occupation. During the occupation, Russian forces confiscated their food and vehicles, according to village residents. Many houses in the town were damaged, as Russian forces used civilian homes as headquarters.

Russia withdrew from Kherson on November 11.
