Kömürhan Bridge in Turkey captured under sunset

The Kömürhan Bridge, which connects 16 cities, uses 7,000 tons of steel, which is equivalent to the amount of steel used in the Eiffel Tower. It is also the fourth longest bridge in the world, with its middle span, located in Turkey’s Elazig and Malatya cities, forming unique views with the sunset.

The new Kömürhan Bridge was designed as an inverted-Y-shaped tower in the project with a total length of 5,155 meters, which includes a double tube tunnel with a length of 2,400 meters, a bridge with a 660 meter strained curved cable, and a reinforced concrete bridge with a length of 123 meters. The Ihlas News Agency team captured the combination of the sun’s redness and the silhouette of the bridge.
