The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council started in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, under the chairmanship of the country’s President Sadyr Japarov. Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attend the meeting held at the Presidential Residence.
In his opening speech in the session, Japarov said, “The economies of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union are under a great burden. In these difficult conditions, as heads of state, it is very important to do our best for mutually beneficial commercial, economic and investment partnerships.”
After the main session of the meeting, the final documents will be signed by the leaders, after which Japarov will hold a press conference.
