Landslide caused by heavy rain ripped through a road in Malaysian state of Selangor, leaving 5 vehicles damaged. The vehicles fell into the pit that is formed following the incident. First aid and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The Malaysian Police said that the landslide was a major event, describing the collapse of the road as a “disaster” due to landslides, while it was reported that the road collapsed after the explosion in the drainage pipe.

The Malaysian National Disaster Management Agency announced that 7 states were flooded and many people were evacuated from their homes due to the heavy rains that were effective in the country. In the last two weeks, more than 125,000 people were affected and 8,727 people took shelter in the rescue center after the flood, the ministry announced. No casualties recorded in the incident, authorities added.
