Landslide in Kazakhstan: 1 Person Died

A fatal landslide struck Almaty, Kazakhstan, claiming one life and prompting ongoing search and rescue operations for three individuals trapped beneath the soil. The incident, attributed to excessive irrigation, occurred in the Medeu district around 02:00 local time. The 17-year-old victim lost his life due to the human-induced disaster. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan reported damage to two houses buried in 3,200 cubic meters of mud, emphasizing the ongoing efforts to rescue the trapped individuals.
