Landslide in Northern Taiwan Buries Vehicles, Injures Four

A landslide on a mountain pass in Keelung, northern Taiwan, buried nine vehicles, a truck, and a motorcycle. The incident, which occurred on June 3, was captured on phone cameras by nearby citizens. Rescue teams using specially trained dogs and drones managed to pull four injured people from the wreckage. The injuries are not life-threatening.

Taiwanese officials attributed the landslide to recent earthquakes in Hualien County and heavy rainfall. The affected road and nearby parking lot are expected to reopen in a week.
