Largest Mosque of Türkiye’s East Black Sea Nears Completion

The construction of the Hanife Hatun Mosque and Complex in Trabzon, Türkiye, is in its final stages. Built on a 26,000-square-meter site, the mosque will accommodate 15,000 worshippers. Featuring a conference hall, education center, soup kitchen, and recreation areas, it is the largest mosque complex in the Eastern Black Sea Region. The project, supported by philanthropists and former Minister Erdoğan Bayraktar, is expected to open soon.
