A gas tanker parked in southwestern China’s Sichuan province exploded after the gas inside began to rapidly leak out. The driver and his assistant who were working on the tanker at that time lost their lives. The flames quickly spread to a wide area and damaged another vehicle. The flames were extinguished after an hour. The cause of the explosion was being investigated.
