The Israeli Defense Forces stated that Hezbollah points in Lebanon launched a missile attack against military positions on Israel’s northern border. The attack, carried out with a guided anti-tank missile in the town of Shtula, killed a medical officer and injured three others. The injured were taken to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. In response to the attack, the Israeli army opened fire on Hezbollah points.
Lebanese Hezbollah announced that the attacks were carried out in response to Israel’s recent attacks in Lebanon.
