The death toll from the collapse of two adjacent residential buildings in northern Lebanon has risen to 13, according to Lebanese authorities. Search and rescue teams continue operations in the Bab el-Tabbaneh area of Tripoli, where nine people have been pulled alive from the rubble, the Lebanese National News Agency reported.
Tripoli City Council President Abdel Hamid Karameh said the number of missing remains unknown. The Lebanese Civil Defense said a total of 22 people were living in the collapsed buildings.
