Following the forest fire that started in the Kale district of Denizli in the Aegean region of Türkiye, two more fires broke out in the forest in Babadağ and later in Çal districts as a result of lightning strikes. The fires spread in a short time due to the strong wind and approached the residential area in Dağmarmara District of Çal.
Following the arrival of summer, small-scale forest fires began to occur in various cities, especially where temperatures reach higher numbers.
