Lightning struck the roof of the 4-story apartment building belonging to Hüseyin Ç. during the downpour in Bolu last night, causing a fire that spread rapidly. Firefighters who arrived at the scene upon receiving a report from citizens intervened in the flames, while the electricity distribution company SEDAŞ cut off the street’s electricity as a safety precaution. The flames were extinguished in less than an hour.
