On Saturday night police in London clashed with participants of unofficial vigil for Sarah Everard. Everard, went missing while walking home from a friend’s apartment in south London on March 3. Her body was found on Wednesday in an area of woodland in Kent. More than a thousand people gathered in defiance of coronavirus restrictions in Clapham Common, near where Sarah Everard was last seen alive.
Metropolitan police officer Wayne Couzens appeared in court in London after being charged with the kidnap and murder of Sarah Everard.
