Londoner Swimming Club Holds Worlds Oldest Swimming Race

The Serpentine Swimming Club in Britain’s London held their annual ‘Christmas Day Race’ at the Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park this morning. The first finisher in the 91.4-meter course was awarded the ‘Peter Pan Cup’.

The race, which was held in 1864 for the first time, is believed to be the world’s oldest swimming race that is still being held today.
