London’s Queen Elizabeth II subway line opens

The 118-kilometer subway line named after Queen Elizabeth II, which its construction started in 2018 in England’s capital London, has opened. The line, built specifically for Elizabeth’s 70th year on the throne, became the second metro line to Heathrow Airport. On the subway line, which thousands of Londoners started to use after the opening, predominantly purple colors were used. The tube line was also recorded as the first line to go east, north, south and west of London.
