The artwork ‘Love is in the Bin’ by anonymous British street artist Banksy fetched 18.6 million pounds, a Banksy record price, during auction at Sotheby’s Auction House in London. The painting was famously shredded by the artist at the Sotheby’s auction in 2018 shortly after being sold.
A total of 44 valuable artworks were put up for sale at Sotheby’s Auction House. The artwork ‘S.D’ by Gerard Richer was sold at 9.6 million pounds, making it the second highest price in the auction.
