LPG tank explodes in Iran: 6 injured

At least 6 people were injured when a fire broke out at a car inspection station in Hamedan, Iran, about 12:10 p.m. local time. While 70 LPG tanks exploded, 5 vehicles were completely burned in the incident.

Sencer Beygi, Director of the Hamedan State Red Crescent, stated that the exact cause of the explosion is unknown at this time, and that expert teams are continuing their investigation. He said, “Firefighters arrived quickly and extinguished the fire. As a result, the fire did not spread to other nearby buildings and warehouses.”
