After a video conference with Ukraine’s President Zelensky and European leaders, French President Emmanuel Macron said, “Showing weakness against Russia will pave the way for a future conflict.” He stressed that Europe must remain strong to protect peace and security.
Macron said allies, including Japan and Canada, will present a united front at tomorrow’s White House meeting. EU Council President Antonio Costa added that if no ceasefire is reached, the EU and US must increase pressure on Moscow.
