Magnitude 6 quake hits Indonesia’s Java island

A magnitude 6 earthquake struck East Java, 32 kilometers southeast of Kalianget, at a depth of 14 kilometers, according to the US Geological Survey.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far. The quake follows a 6.9-magnitude earthquake in the Philippines that triggered a tsunami warning.
