A container settlement is being established in Malatya, one of the cities where many houses were destroyed in the two major earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş, Türkiye on February 6th. It is planned to set up 2,100 containers in the area, which is 180 thousand square meters wide.
Among the 20,319 buildings examined in the city, 5,578 were reported to have been demolished or urgently needed to be demolished.
