On Monday, a man attempted to kidnap a barista at a drive-thru coffee shop in the Auburn district of Washington state in the US. The incident broke out as the man grabbed the woman’s wrist and threw a cable-like item towards her as she was handing him his change. The barista managed to escape from the man’s grasp and closed the window.
Police identified the attacker, who had fled the scene in his vehicle, and arrested him on the following day.
