Tragedy struck as Bilal Yiğit, 56, from Kayseri, Türkiye, ate two scorpions, purportedly due to depression, leading to his death. Yiğit fell ill on a passenger bus in Samsun’s Havza district while en route to Artvin. He was rushed to Havza State Hospital but later transferred to Samsun Training and Research Hospital, where efforts to save him were unsuccessful. Yiğit’s body was sent for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
