Man Kills At least 26 in Kashmir Attack

An armed attack in Baisaran, a remote tourist area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district, left 26 people dead. The Kashmir Resistance group claimed responsibility, accusing foreigners of altering the region’s demographics.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack, vowing justice and reaffirming the government’s commitment to combating terrorism. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah described it as one of the deadliest civilian attacks in recent years.
