A man attacked shoppers with knife in a supermarket in Auckland, New Zealand. Six people were injured in the attack. The attacker was a Sri Lankan citizen, and was shot dead by police within 60 seconds following the attack, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said. Describing the incident as a terrorist attack, Ardern stated that the attacker, who came to the country in 2011, was an ISIS symphatiser, and was well known by security institutions.
