Marbled polecats, which are on the red list of species at high risk of extinction by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN), were spotted near Ardıçlı Village in Şiran district of Gümüşhane in Türkiye.
Yakup Yıldırım, the witness who came across the marbled polecats, said that the marbled polecats were both cute and scary and that they made frightening sounds after sensing danger.
When in danger, marbled polecats can spray their enemies, like skunks.
