Thousands gathered in Minab today for a mass funeral honoring 165 students and staff killed in a bombing at the Shajarat al-Tayyiba Girls’ Primary School in Iran.

The crowd filled the city square in Hormozgan province, carrying Iranian flags and images of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Mourners chanted slogans against the United States and Israel, who were identified by local officials as responsible for the Saturday strike.

Minab Governor Mohammad Radmehr confirmed the death toll includes at least 165 girls. The ceremony marks a period of intense mourning as the region reacts to the destruction of the educational facility.
