A fire broke out in the attic of a two-story wooden building in İzmir’s Selçuk district. Seven people were quickly evacuated by police teams who arrived on the scene. The fire, which caused panic, was put out after a one-hour battle by firefighters. The fire rendered the building unusable. No casualties or injuries were reported.
Investigation into the cause the fire is underway.
