massive fuel depot fire in Indonesia: 17 dead

A fire broke out at a fuel storage station operated by Indonesia’s state energy company, Pertamina, in the capital, Jakarta, at 20:00 local time. Authorities announced that 17 people, including two children, died and 50 were injured in the incident. Thousands were evacuated as the fire spread to many buildings in the area. The cause of the incident is being investigated, the company said.
