Rashida Tlaib, a female member of the US House of Representatives, held up a sign reading “Genocide Criminal” while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was addressing the US Congress, where he was greeted with applause from the majority.
Referring to the anti-Israeli protests around the Congress building during his speech, the Israeli leader said that these protests were financed by Iran and told the protesters: “When the tyrants of Tehran who hang gays from cranes and murder women for not covering their head are praising, promoting, and funding you, you have officially become Iran’s useful idiots.”
